Waveform, Ghost & View in One Flow

STRAK’s waveform window gives you a direct visual read of your groove while you work, so timing choices are fast and musical. With Ghost overlay, you can compare another STRAK instance in the background to match feel or tighten alignment between tracks. The Ghost overlay is also a practical phase-check tool: for example, by loading a bassline as Ghost behind your kick, you can quickly see whether both waveforms are lining up in phase. The View control lets you smoothly zoom from a 1-bar context to a detailed 1/16 focus, keeping both the big picture and fine timing adjustments in reach.

The Time Slider: Total Manual Control

Because no two transients are ever exactly the same, STRAK’s Time Slider gives you precise manual control whenever automatic timing needs a final touch. Make quick broad moves, or hold Shift for ultra-fine 0.01 ms adjustments while aligning by ear and confirming visually on the waveform and grid.

For external gear and VST instruments, STRAK creates a live high-resolution output waveform so normally “unseen” transients become clearly visible for manual alignment—making it easy to tighten your groove, improve phase alignment, and lock timing exactly where it feels right.

Instant Phase Correction

Layered kicks or stacked basslines can easily suffer from phase cancellation, robbing your track of its punch. With STRAK’s built-in Phase Invert switch, you can instantly flip the polarity. Combined with the visual waveform display and a Ghost selected, you can perfectly align the peaks and valleys of both tracks, ensuring a massive and phase-coherent mix in seconds.

Visual Swing Grid

Dial in your groove with the customizable Swing settings. STRAK allows you to adjust the 16th-note swing grid lines directly within the waveform display. This is a purely visual guide—it does not automatically warp, stretch, or alter your audio. This makes it the perfect visual measuring tool—allowing you to quickly identify the exact swing percentage of any loop and directly apply that value to your DAW.
